Stained glass leaf art

We have so many leaves outside our classroom and they are beautiful!  Check out our amazing autumn stained glass leaf art.

First we had to gather the leaves from outside.  We had so much fun picking up the leaves from the ground.  We went to a few different trees to get a range of shapes, colours and sizes.
Then we came back to class and spread them out to dry and sort them into piles based on their size.
We then picked the leaves that we wanted to use.  We arranged them into the design and patterns that we wanted to create.

What a spectacular way to show case all the bright, wonderful, colourful leaf shapes that Autumn has gifted us.

Wow, Room 3 these look great. I love it how you are using the natural world to create beautiful artwork. Was it difficult to make these?

Thank you Mrs Cameron! Sorry about the late reply. Was super easy to make because we just put it through the laminating machine! Only tricky part was not getting any leaves stuck in the machine.
