Our Beebot Challenge for Inquiry - Communication!

We had to create our own Beebot mats and Mrs Bond who leads the STEM club, kindly judged the winning mat for us!  Congratulations to Hayley, Christiaan and Oshen who were our winners.  Mrs Bond liked how their mat 'told a story' and that thought had gone into how the bee might travel from one place to another.  We can't wait to try our mats out!  What an awesome effort room 3!

Let's Talk About It!

Check out our awesome walkie-talkies and cellphones we made!  We re-used our milk boxes by painting them and then sticking on our communication features.

Bee-bots!

Some Bee-bots arrived in our class today!  Our inquiry for this term is Communication and we had great fun telling these bees where to go.  Mrs Wallbank set up a track that we had to try and navigate our bees through.  It wasn't as easy as we thought!

We couldn't wait to use the Bee-bots but first we had to go through the Bee keeping rules!

Watching a video clip on ways to operate our Bee-bots!

First we tried a simple pathway
Then we tried the mats
