Stained glass leaf art

We have so many leaves outside our classroom and they are beautiful!  Check out our amazing autumn stained glass leaf art. 

First we had to gather the leaves from outside.  We had so much fun picking up the leaves from the ground.  We went to a few different trees to get a range of shapes, colours and sizes.

Then we came back to class and spread them out to dry and sort them into piles based on their size.

 We then picked the leaves that we wanted to use.  We arranged them into the design and patterns that we wanted to create.

Tidiest Cloakbay!

Yay!  We have done a great job of looking after our environment and keeping our classroom tidy.  Especially our cloak bay - remembering to keep our bags zipped up and our shoes against the wall.  We got given the trophy at assembly today!  This is a picture of us and our trophy standing in our tidy cloak bay.

We won!

We were awarded the green grasshopper from the Green Team for having the most waste free lunches this week! 

Let's keep him in our class for another week!  Bring a waste free lunch on WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY.

Mother's Day Bookmarks

Mrs Thompson set the school a Mother's Day challenge to design a bookmark for our Mum's.  We designed our bookmarks on Goggle Drawing and Mrs Wallbank printed them off and laminated them.  Some of us tied ribbon to them, to finish it off.

We can't wait to give them to our Mums!
