Up and Coming Cultural Festival!

The October holidays are fast approaching. If you are looking at doing a bit of spring cleaning, keep in mind that the school will have a White Elephant Stall. 

According to Wikipedia: A "white elephant sale" sells items that retain some value but have no intrinsic use; items are often referred to as white elephants. Such items may still find buyers but their resale value is hard to estimate.

We accept donated goods in a re-sellable condition (new and used)

• If you are donating Brick-a-Brack please make sure there are no chips or cracks
• Soft toys and clothing should be washed with no rips.
• Board games and other toys to be bagged up (matching) if incomplete please write INCOMPLETE on bag
• If the item can fit in your car and you no longer need it,please donate!

Wearable Arts Show

The creations this year were truly amazing and we had a great time making our own.  We carried out the theme of Maori mythology relating to the environment and created 5 main costumes depicting:
- Tangaroa
- Tawhirimatea
- Tane Mahuta
- Papatuanuku
- Ranginui

Thank you to all of the families who came out to support us by watching the show.  We hoped you enjoyed seeing what we made!

Weekly Update Term 3, Week 8

Wearable Arts Reminders for Night Shows: Meet in room 3 at 5.15-5.30pm to get changed into costumes, ready for 6pm show to start.

Please note because we are the FIRST class on, you are able to pick up your child early at 6.15-6.30pm on either of the nights.  If you are attending the show you will need to wait till the end of the show at 7.30pm to pick up your child.  It is important that you pick up your child from our classroom only.
